Cedar Grove Marina & Campground, Inc. is located on beautiful Norris Lake
just 35 minutes north of Knoxville, off I-75 and 15 minutes
south of historic Cumberland Gap, on 25E.
It's some of the most stunning land in East Tennessee.
Norris Lake is widely known as one of the cleanest lakes in North America!
Cedar Grove Marina & Campground, Inc. strives to bring
you quality rentals at a honest value. Our history dates
back to the 1930's when the the Marina was first established.
The dock was greatly enlarged around 1988 and the present owners
have continued to enlarge the dock area to make it recognized today as one
of the largest boat docks on Norris Lake.
The Marina Store
We are a Full-Service Marina & Campground offering accommodations; houseboat,
pontoon boat, ski boat and a large assortment of watertoy rentals, we also offer;
covered slips, open slips, lifts, launch ramp, overnight camping, annual camping and
primitive tent camping. Our Marina store carries a variety of items such as: boating
and fishing supplies, Tennessee fishing license (which is required to fish on Norris Lake),
groceries, snacks, souvenirs, drinks and propane.
Tube inflation and battery charge is also available.
For your convenience we offer Wi-Fi Internet service if you need to
stay connected.
Norris Lake Information
For the outdoor enthusiasts whether you're a hunter, fisherman or
wildlife watcher or a combination of them all, Tennessee offers
the beauty of the mountains and an abundance of wildlife.
Lake Norris is a great place for fishing, boating, swimming,
and other water sports. With it's clear deep water, its great for
catching rock fish, walleye, and bass, as well as the usual species
found in other area lakes.
From Point 21 (near The Big Ridge State Park) to Point 33
(next to Norris Acres) you'll find five Marina's nestled
in the Cumberland Mountains, which means less congestion
and more hours of enjoyment on the lake.
Facts about Norris Lake
Norris has the largest flood control storage of any TVA dam on
a tributary of the Tennessee - at normal maximum pool the reservoir
holds, 2,040,000 acre feet of water. Norris Lake extends 73 miles up
the Clinch River and 56 miles up the Powell River. It has 750 miles of shoreline,
and 50 miles of island shoreline giving a total of 800 miles of shoreline. The
maximum width of the lake is 1.2 miles with a surface area of more that 34,200
acres. The watershed area for Norris Lake covers 2,912 square miles. Norris
Dam is 265 feet high and 1,860 feet long. Norris Lake holds 830 billion gallons of water and
is loaded with coves and inlets and has miles of various creeks.
This area is enriched with ridges and valleys where
every season has it's own natural splendor.
